Happy Summer! Let's get it started with a weekly menu plan.
I hope you all are getting a good start to your summer, of course, some of you may not be quite to summer yet. In our area our summer break starts in the middle of May, so we are well into ours now.
It's that time of year when I really start grilling more than using indoor appliances. I also tend to make my Blueberry Crisp
on a regular basis all summer long too with Better Batter.
It's my favorite dessert to serve to a crowd, thanks to Better Batter, it's also easy to make gluten-free and no one notices.
What are some of your favorite foods for the summer?
I feel like during the summer cooking is so much more laid back for me. I stock the freezer with lots of meats and the fridge with fresh produce and cook without really a plan in mind. It all turns out wonderfully with just a few seasonings and grilled.
I love eating outdoors in the summer months too, we tend to spend most of our time on our patio for dinner. It's a great way to relax and get some fresh air that we've been missing all winter long.
