The contest entry period begins at 3:30pm EST on 9/1/2015 and ends at 11:59pm EST on 9/30/2015. You may enter the contest using the following methods:
1) Submit a recipe on our site, using the form on the right hand side of the page
Users may do this by registering an account with a verified email on the Better Batter Gluten Free Flour website and submitting a recipe and photo that uses any Better Batter gluten free product as an ingredient, along with an original photo of the completed recipe at the following URL by logging in and clicking the “Submit Your Recipe”
2) Submit a recipe and photo on your own site, that uses any Better Batter Gluten Free product as an ingredient, with a link-back to the product page. You should notify Better Batter via email of your entry, providing a link to your page.
3) Submit a recipe and photo on your own social networking site, in a ‘public’ format (your post/picture must be set to public). You should tag Better Batter in all entries

1. Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. CONTEST OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (COLLECTIVELY, THE “U.S.”) WHO ARE AGE 18 OR OLDER. IF YOU ARE NOT A RESIDENT OF THE U.S., YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE, AND Better Batter Gluten Free Flour, LLC (“SPONSOR”) RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO AWARD PRIZES TO ENTRANTS WHO RESIDE IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the format designated below. Better Batter Gluten Free Flour, LLC, all participating sponsors, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, judges, advertising and promotional agencies, employees and agencies (collectively, the “Participating Entities”), and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Offer void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. Limitations of Liability/ Disclaimer.
The Participating Entities will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Contest disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Better Batter Gluten Free Flour is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries or for any computer, online or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, Better Batter Gluten Free Flour may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Entrants further agree to release Better Batter Gluten Free Flour from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the contest. Better Batter makes all reasonable efforts to research the recipes prior to publication.
If you feel your intellectual content has been stolen and the entry violates copyright law guidelines, please notify us and we will immediately removed the offending recipe from the website. Better Batter assumes no liability and claims no complicity in publishing print versions of all non-original recipe contest entries submitted in violation of copyright.
If you find that a recipe violates your copyrights , , you may notify Better Batter Gluten Free Flour, LLC, and the offending recipe will be taken down or altered to provide correct attribution. If you provide notice of a copyright violation, after the period where print versions of a recipe contest booklet are made available for sale, you may choose to request a cease and desist of distribution of any or all such printed publications, and Better Batter Gluten Free Flour, LLC agrees to remove all such recipes from future printings/editions of the booklet as well as from all website entries. You may further choose to recall all distributed printed works at your own cost.
Better Batter Gluten Free Flour will not be held legally responsible for any content provided by entrants. All legal litigation and criminal proceedings must pursue the entrant and not Better Batter Gluten Free Flour, LLC. The company will provide all reasonable information to cooperate with any civil or criminal investigation of stolen content provided by an entrant, including name, physical address, email address, and phone number if available.
Entrance into this contest indicates agreement of the terms of copyright protection and your full acceptance of personal and criminal liability for stolen intellectual property.

NOTE:
Where Recipes are note original creations or family recipes, you must provide a CLEAR and COMPLETE link and attribution to the original copyright holder, along with any revisions or changes you made to the recipe. Recipes submitted without correct attribution are illegal, and entrants will be liable for all civil damages claims litigation or criminal proceedings stemming from charges of copyright violation.
Submitted photos must also be your original work. Submission of photo indicates that you:
a) created the photo for the recipe in question
b) created the photo for the contest entry
c) you are the sole copyright owner.
Individual contestants may enter as many recipes as they wish, but only one entry will be eligible to win.
Contestants must be 18 years or older to participate. Contestants must be citizens of the United States of America. Employees of Better Batter Gluten Free Flour and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the contest. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary.
4. Ownership of Entries. By entering a recipe and photo, using any entry method, contestants agree to give Better Batter Gluten Free Flour the non-exclusive rights to publish the recipe and photo on the Better Batter website, in Better Batter promotional and advertising materials, and in Better Batter publications without any further compensation or attribution. Credit will be given to the contestant where possible.
All entries and materials submitted to Sponsor in connection with the Contest (collectively, “Entry Materials”), along with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated therewith, become the non-exclusive property of Sponsor upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any entrant. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Sponsor will own non-exclusive rights to use, modify, reproduce, publish, perform, display, distribute, make derivative works of and otherwise commercially and non-commercially exploit the Entry Materials in perpetuity and throughout the universe, in any manner or medium now existing or hereafter developed, without separate compensation to you or any other person or entity. Sponsors use of the entry materials may include but shall not be limited to print publication and website publication. You agree that the sponsor may take, at Sponsor’s expense, any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by Sponsor to effect, perfect or confirm Sponsor’s ownership rights as set forth above in this paragraph.
Use of Winner’s Name, Likeness, etc. Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use winner’s name, address, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, winner may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a consent to the use of their name, address, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. However Sponsor reserves the right to publish, without limitation, any or all of this information without further permission.
5. Original Work of Authorship. You hereby warrant and represent that (a) you own all rights to all Entry Materials submitted by you; and (b) all such Entry Materials are original works of authorship on your part and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work and do not violate, misappropriate or infringe any copyright, trademark or other proprietary right of any other person or entity. Better Batter staff makes every reasonable effort to ensure that contest entries meet requirements. If you participate in stealing or copying a recipe or photograph from any other publication or site than your own personal blog, including other’s blogs or commercial websites, your recipe WILL be disqualified, immediately, and you may be banned from all future contests.
6. General Release. By entering the Contest, you release the Sponsor and the Participating Entities from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
7. Affidavit & Release. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability.
Prizes
One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $200 cash prize.
Winner will be responsible for claiming Local, State, and Federal Taxes on the prize money.
Winner Selection
Entries will be made public on the website after they are submitted, on or after midnight, September 30,2015.
In order for the contest to be judged, at least 5 entrants will need to have submitted their recipes.
The winner will also be contacted by email, or by the method used to enter the contest.The Judges will use persona aesthetic criteria to determine their favorite recipe. Criteria may (but not necessarily) include: originality of recipe, quality of picture and recipe, and human interest (trendiness) in their consideration for choosing a winner. The prize winning finalist recipe shall be tested before declaring a winner. If the recipe is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or unappetizing, a different finalist will be chosen. The final recipe will be chosen after the quality of the recipe is verified with testing by the Sponsor.
Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible entries received and the quality of the entries received, as judged pursuant to these Official Rules. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
All listed prizes will be awarded, and the winner shall be notified of selection. Other entrants shall not be notified of winning/non winning status. Any prize returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within five (5) days after first attempted delivery will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
In the event of a dispute about the identity of the entrant, entries made online will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. An authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.
Conduct
All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Better Batter Gluten Free Flour in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be in violation of these rules.
Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous. The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the state of Pennsylvania. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Contest or any entrant’s participation in the Contest should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Contest or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Contest as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Contest or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Contest or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Contest.
