Fat Tuesday is celebrated in many parts of the United States. Originally a day to use up the last remaining store of fat and sugar before the Lenten fast season began, it has evolved into a celebration in its own right. This recipe is a creative use of both fat and sugar….. Doughnuts are baked into our decadent Fudge Brownie Mix, and the result is so fat, it’s downright obese. Make sure your gym membership is up to date before downing one of these – they’re rich!!
1 box (20oz) Better Batter Gluten Free Fudge Brownie Mix, prepared as per box instructions for 3 egg brownie (you will need eggs, oil, and water)
6 unfilled Pączki
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut up Pączki and place evenly into a 9×13 inch pan.
Pour brownie mix over Pączki, shaking lightly to evenly distribute.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the outside 1 inch of the pan seems cooked (inside should be puffed but slightly underdone looking).
Allow to cool before cutting and serving. Best if served the day they are made.
