A great little dish to make for your great little loved ones, this pizza is easy to whip together if you have some of our Rainy Day Dough in the freezer. You may premake these and flash freeze if you wish, and cook from frozen. This packs well in lunch boxes as a ‘cool’ pizza. Top with your favorite toppings, or use our suggestions for mini pepperoni below.

1 recipe Rainy Day Dough

1 6oz container tomato paste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 80z package mozzarella cheese

1 8 oz package Hormel miniature pepperoni, or topping of your choice

Thaw out Rainy Day dough.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Divide into 1 c portions. Roll out into 6 inch circles, and using hands, shape into heart shapes, forming a small crust around the edges.

Spread abotu 1 1/2 ounces tomato paste on the dough – this is about a rounded tbsp. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Top each pizza with cheese and pepperoni. You may flash freeze at this time, if you wish. Otherwise proceed to baking.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is browning and bubbly and crust is golden. Allow to cool to room temperature before serving for little ones.
