Naomi makes her favourite stuffed French Toast without dairy to meet the needs of her family. Here we have also removed the eggs, for a completely vegan treat. You can use either raisins or (pictured above) craisins. This is a great way to use stale bread.

1-2 lb of bread (we suggest Italian Rolls, made without egg wash), cubed
4m Tbsp dairy free margarine, melted
1/2 c agave nectar or maple syrup
1- 1 1/2 cups dairy free milk substitute (you will need more if allowing to soak overnight and less if making fresh)
8 oz raisins or craisins
2 Tbsp cinnamon

Oil a 9×13 inch baking pan and place the cubed bread into it.

Stir together the melted margarine, df milk substitute and agave nectar or maple syrup.

Pour the liquid mixture over the bread. Add the raisins or craisins and stir to evenly distribute all contents.

Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge overnight, if desired.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, or until light golden brown and slightly puffy.
